Really looking forward to start my workaway experience in September. I am going to Central & South America, where I want to learn about the different cultures, permaculture & sustainable living.

Hola a todos! My name is Vera, 26 years old, and currently I am planning my trip to Central & South America. I speak Dutch, English, and French and I am learning Spanish. I have been living in Amsterdam for the last two years, after having lived in Maastricht, Nice, Paris, and Bonaire. Why should you decide to take me in as your next volunteer? I am trustworthy, spontaneous, eager to learn, and very much looking forward to a new adventure. I studied Hotel Management, where I gained a lot of experience in the hospitality industry. Later I started working at a catering company, as a sustainability employee where I saw how much impact you can make in the food industry. Therefore, I am much interested in food and the role of food in other cultures. What is the real story behind the products, and their producers, for example. That's why I like to join projects that are related to such topics. Last but not least, I really want to improve my Spanish & I love to meet new people, make real connections with the people that I meet during my time abroad, and stay at a project for at least 3+ weeks.
