My name is Valeska, and I'm a 23-year-old from Germany with a passion for exploring new cultures, great food, and meeting wonderful people around the world. I’ve recently completed my studies in fashion management and would love to discover the beauty of Japan before starting my professional career.

Work experience:
I have several years of experience in housekeeping, kitchen work, and the hotel industry. My first Workaway experience was in Ireland. It was an amazing opportunity to grow personally and professionally.
Skills and passions:
I’m creative and love sewing, cooking, and crafting.
I enjoy working with children and have experience tutoring and babysitting.
I’m also great with dogs! I worked as a dog sitter for a year and grew up with pets.
I’m organized and capable of running a household efficiently.
I can teach English (and a little German if you’d like!). I have lived in Ireland for 2 years.
Why Japan?
Japan fascinates me with its stunning landscapes, rich culture, and, of course, its incredible cuisine! I’m eager to learn more about the traditions, try authentic Japanese dishes, and exchange cultural experiences. I’m also starting to learn Japanese and would love to practice and improve my skills while living there.

I have already gained professional experience in service of a restaurant and in housekeeping of a hotel. I also tutored in maths, English and Latin during school. I can provide work references on request. I know what household chores are and I can do them well. Cooking is definently something I really enjoy and my family says that I can cook very well :)
