Hello...I'm Matt. Born and raised in the US on the east coast in North Carolina. I recently quit my job and sold my possessions to solo travel for several months. I want to explore the world but more importantly connect with different people and learn about other lifestyles and culture. I don't care so much to see touristy attractions but rather I genuinely want to help and connect with others and feel a sense of purpose while I travel. Life is incredible short and I want to make the most of it. I want to spread love and positivity and feel loved:)

I would like to consider myself a pretty well rounded individual who is competent and can work through most problems. I have a strong work ethic and willingness to learn/help when given the opportunity. My educational background primarily focuses on business. My undergrad degree is accounting and my graduate degree is a MBA with a concentration in sustainable business. I worked for a public accounting firm for several months as an auditor but quickly found my passion was in the field of sustainability. For my most recent job, I was helping a global company quantify their environmental impacts(carbon, water, waste footprint). I have also designed and built an 1100 gallon rainwater harvesting system which is used for any outdoor water use like gardening. The system is run off a water pump which is powered by a 12v battery and charged with a solar panel so it is entirely off grid and self sustaining. I am very comfortable in microsoft excel and word(overall pretty tech savy-but don't know how to code). I am in very good shape and could help with any physically demanding work. Fluent in only English. I know the fundamentals of Krav Maga if interested in learning self defense. I have also worked closely with children at a summer camp as a camp counselor for 7 and 8 year olds.
