Hi!
I've just quit my job (yay!) to travel and explore our beautiful world and I am looking forward to lots of new experiences! I was working as a primary school teacher in Switzerland. I love hiking, climbing, walking, any types of sports or anything to do with moving my body. I love being creative, being around kids (as a teacher quite essential) and noticing the little enjoyments of life.

Honestly, I love to work. That's one of the reasons why I am signing up for workaway. You get a chance of meeting people and have a task that needs to be done. And whatever that task is, it feels good when it is done.
I have little experience in gardening or building things but I am very keen to learn. I know the basics: My Mom has a nice garden and as kids we used to help her harvest the potatos or carrots and my Dad taught me a couple of things, like how to use a hammer or a drill ;)
I grew up on a sheep farm and sheep just have a special place in my heart. We always had cats around the house and I am training myself to be less scared of dogs (It's going very well).
My uncle has a farm and whenever he needs help, we are there for him do whatever needs to be done: haymaking, cuttung trees or bushes, making apple juice or harvesting cherries or walnuts.
During my studies I worked at a rope park in Switzerland doing all sorts of things like rescuing people, help building platforms or keeping the forest clean.
I love having kids around, am organized and can help in the household as well, if desired. Cleaning and cooking included.
