My next destination:
Colombia - from Apr 2024 until May 2024 View allDescription
Hello! Well... to start I'd say I am a pretty easy going guy. I have been told I can be very social, I'm good at talking to people, very adaptable, and overall very easy to get along with.
Above everything I love to travel. I think i have travelled a lot, but I find that with each new place I go to I hear about three more. I feel that the world just keeps getting bigger.... and one thing I'm working on is telling myself that I can't see it all... its a work in progress haha.
I love history, languages, and just talking to people. My dream is to become a mental health therapist someday, it's a goal I'm currently working towards.
I try to meditate everyday. I love taking a walk, especially in nature. I love all animals, but dogs have a special place in me.
I am a pescatarian... in that I still eat eggs and fish sometimes. But I don't mind at all if others eat meat in front of me.
I used to be an English teacher abroad for some years, and I still enjoy helping people to learn whatever i might know.
I'm interested to learn more about cooking, nature, the hospitality industry, permaculture, drawing, spirituality, and sustainable tourism.... to name a few things. If I were rich I think i'd just travel and take classes on everything there is to know. :D
I'll leave it to that, and allow you to ask any further questions to help you to fill in the blanks.Interests

I was an ESL teacher for 7 years. I have studied four different languages, Spanish, German, Italian and Mandarin. I love learning languages... they are like puzzles that when you unlock them you get a wealth of knowledge and understanding of a group of people and their cultures. I also love to teach anyone who truly wants to learn. I don't want to sound cheesy... but it truly is incredible the look you get in someone eyes when they realize they finally understand something they never could before.Skills and knowledge I'd like to share or learn

My work experience has been basic construction, teaching English to foreigners, Airbnb host and location creator, project manager.
I have education in entrepreneurship and international relations.
I have volunteered at several mediation and yoga ashrams, doing basic cleaning and cooking, but they were not a part of workaway.
I have strong social skills and to be honest I would say one of my greatest attributes is how easy it is for me to adapt to most situations.Age

What else ...
I love to walk. I just did the Camino de Santiago in Spain recently. It took me 45 days.. I walk kinda slow haha.
Besides being a mental health counselor my other dream job is to own my own small hotel, like so many other travelers want to do.
I love to travel and see new places... but the more experience I get i realize... it's all about the people you meet. Some more information
