  • Description

Amnesia clears the mind and soul. A bit of a sentence to start out on haha. After graduating high school, a significant event left me with isolated retrograde amnesia. I did not remember anything about my personal life. Luckily as the years passed many memories came back for me to contemplate once again. This created an abundance of contemplation that has given me priceless wisdom. My foundational tenets are compassion, open-mindedness, humility, honesty, and perseverance.

I love interacting with all ages, animals, and plants. Eager to learn new skills and discover new hobbies.

Growing up in a family with a legacy of agriculture, education, and art. I've come to appreciate all sorts of unique pursuits of life. Nearing graduation I realized the typical corporate finance route was not for my soul. While in college I helped create 2 nonprofits, one being a multi-million dollar sustainable agriculture tech-incubator and the other being a student-run venture capital fund that promotes equity and healthy local stimulus. I also created 4 student organizations ranging from health advocacy to entrepreneurship. I was blessed to be a research fellow at a medical foundation with duties ranging from youth mental health to marketing. Since college I've been soul searching. Life just makes sense when I'm travelling and experiencing the many vibrant cultures of this world.

I currently run operations and consult startups remotely. My previous job was writing psychology and neuroscience literature for nonprofits in Midwestern America.

I look forward to providing sweat, smiles, laughter, and an open mind. I strongly believe promoting positive, equitable, multi-cultural exchange is the path to global peace and prosperity.

  • More details about your skills

My career duties have ranged from legislation advocacy to financial boring stuff to presentations on neurochemistry and youth mental health to website/marketing overhauls on nonprofit fundraisers. Rather than seeking out the highest paying internships I sought eclectic duties with eccentric goals.

While I've enjoyed my past jobs I've lacked the tactile satisfaction that manual jobs give. Last year I enjoyed farming and landscaping across Italy during my first Workaway adventure!

I am an eager learner with a desire to soak in the expertise of anyone willing to lend their knowledge.

  • Age

    26

  • What else ...

My youth neurobiology research has opened countless doors for pondering how to raise healthy kids, physically, mentally, and emotionally.

I was a Fulbright Laurea Magistrale Alternate and Medical Foundation Research Fellow

I love writing, reading, art, history, physics...anything that one can nerd out on. I brew cider, mead, and occasionally wine. I love weightlifting, sand volleyball, and basketball. Workaways will provide ample opportunities for me to get creative with calisthenics.

Skills and art mediums I wish to pursue: wood burning, mosaics, smithing, reviving historical skills (horse-archery/bowyer/fletchery).
