Hi !

I french and I live in Rouen (a beautiful city of Normandy) and I have just finished my ingineering school. I need a break between my school and my future job. As I am someone who loves to travel and discover new cultures, Workaway would allow me to make my trip possible.

I am willing to invest myself in work where I have an interest.

A little extra: cooking is one of my hobbies

I have already done a workaway in Denmark with nice families to complete my degree with a foreign experience. Also, I tried wwoofing in Ireland on a big house farm. It was a great experience, that I wish to renew. My last trip was in Thailand in a community, a permaculture. It was very interesting.

I would like to travel again to America for few months.

I speak french and I have a standard level of English. So, I would like to have an experience abroad to also improve my English skills.

With my studies, I have skills in the fields of computer software, technical skills for engineering (HVAC, energy efficiency) and mechanics (engine, car).

With my personnal experience, I have already worked in the fields where I have done harvesting, leaf removal, weeding, pruning, sweeping, collecting wood.
Moreover, I develpped done some work in the field of housing and DIY, with the renovation of the family home (painting, sanding, gardening).

In addition, I have experience in supervising children, because I was a summer camp monitor. So, I have supervised of children, created and organized activities.

Our very first workawayer was Tom.
He set the bar high.
Tom is a warm-hearted and incredibly caring guy. He quickly became part of our family and our two girls really liked him. He has many skills and he does not say no thanks to a challenge. He is hardworking and did a great job at our place. We wish the best for Tom and hope to see him again.

So easygoing and very open minded towards our project. He has a strong set of ethics concerning how to adjust, how to handle a task and how to complete it.
