Description

We are Emilie and Tom, a married couple from Denmark and Australia. We are travelling South and Central America to countries like Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador, Colombia and maybe we want to go north to Costa Rica and Belize given the opportunity. Tom is 25, Emilie is 26 years old and we have been traveling though South East Asia, Nepal and India backpacking and when we lived in Australia we were travelling in a caravan for several years that we built ourselves.

Tom has experience with construction, farming and general labour. Tom recently built us a home made of timber all with his bare hands.

Emilie is great with kids, a good cook and also enjoys working outside such as gardening work or tending to animals.

We love being outdoors, we even brought our own tent and sleeping bags, we will never say no to an opportunity to camp in the wild :)

We are passionate about "traditional living", we would love to own our own farmland one day and life off our own land in sync with our animals. We believe that humans need to be in a close relationship to nature for true happiness. We think its important to slow down modern fast paced life and connect with traditional ways of life, appreciating the simple things such as a nice sunset, good bonfire, a hot meal and a roof.

I'm a Qualified Blacksmith / Welder, used to hard work.

Experience:
Showed sheep in highschool, built several chook sheds, volunteered with native animal conservation programs.

Permaculture, farm to plate, sustainably, music, health and fitness, spiritually.

Love to jam, I play the drums but love anything that brings people together. Would much rather spend a night infront of the fire than netflix, love to try new things:)
