After several decades of careful consideration, I’ve finally decided what I want to be when I grow up: Content, Curious, and Free.
How to accomplish that is another matter entirely, but I’m working it out as I go.
Here’s what I think I know so far:
-When I embrace the unknown, my curiosity grows and I find myself appreciating the buffet of life, including the parts I don’t particularly like.
-I’ve discovered more joy in facilitating others projects than I ever did in pursuing my own, and focusing on enhancing the lives of others seems to enhance mine more than anything else I’ve tried.
-Being in nature heals and recharges me.
-Random experiences and connecting with others is where I find true value, and I’ve come to sacrifice comfort and security in order to pursue them.
I know it doesn’t seem like much, but you should see where I started from. I used to think I knew a lot more. Turns out I was wrong, hahaha.

I know there’s more I could list here, I’m just not sure there’s a high demand for things like my chainmaille weaving abilities or roller derby skills.
Tom has a particular love of working with animals, and of the gathering, cutting, and splitting of wood. He’s also an entertaining story-teller.
We can be taught and are eager to learn just about anything.Age

What else ...
I enjoy puzzles of all sorts, particularly jigsaw and logic, weaving chainmaille, reading, meditation, and crocheting.
We both enjoy gaming, writing, good conversation, music, creative projects, and soaking in nature.
I am reliably lazy in the morning. Brain fog needs time to lift and system needs time to reboot. I’ve tried to change this in the past, now I just accept and work with it. If you need butt-crack-of-dawn people, I am not the one, haha. Tom is capable of forcing himself to be up and at ‘em, but doesn’t prefer it.Some more information
