I have a farming background and always lived on a farm.
I studied agriculture at University.
In 1988 I opened our family farm to visitors and looked after 3000 farm animals ranging from Llamas to owls. I ran this for 15 years. I also opened a children's Day Nursery on the farm, a pet shop and pet hotel. I now run a kennels and cattery where we look after upto 120 dogs and 60 cats while their owners go on holiday. I am now developing my next project, which is a garden for elderly disabled people to visit.
I love working with people, animals and plants. In the past I have been on projects to do voluntary work in the UK, the Amazon Jungle and China. I like to keep busy and value life while l am still fit and have enough energy!

I have just returned after 10 days spent in Ireland on Aidan's amazing farm.
