Hello, we are a couple (Sarah et Thomas) from Belgium.
We want to discover new countries and people. Workaway seems to be the best way to travel and connect with people from the country you visit. We are looking forward to meet you :)

We are sociable people who enjoy spending time with others and learning to know them. We can exchange and help you with several tasks. We are also curious and ready to learn new skills.
1. Languages
We are from the french speaking part of Belgium and Sarah has been raised in a bilingual family (German and French). We also learned english in school and through our Travels. We can teach you these three languages.
2. Manual Work
We like nature and we are not afraid to work outside.
Sarah has been producing food in our garden for many years and she is always eager to learn more about it.
Thomas has already been involved with Workaway where he helped families with gardening and interior work. In Belgium, he volunteers in a bike repair association to teach children and adult to repair bikes.
3. Helping out familles with children
We like to take care and make activities with children. We have both experience with children as we spend time with our god children/cousins.
4. We both enjoy cooking ! We would enjoy helping you out.

Without hesitaiting they did works like cutting the bushes, digging the garden, asambling rised beds and compost bins, filling them with material. I mean what else Could we expect from them to do in a short time of 14 days we spent toogether..

I mainly worked with Patrick who taught me a lot of things.
The area is very beautiful with many places to visit. Marie and Patrick were always ready to drive me there.
I felt very welcome by every member of the family. I even stayed longer than expected.

Aine drove me to different places to discover her area. I could also use a bike to get around. There are many lakes and historical sites to see.
