Hi,
We are Marie and Thibaut and we are 26 and 29 years old respectively. We come from France and two years ago we decided to let our old life behind us and start our travel.
Between October 2022 and March 2023 we were in Thailand, Lao, Cambodia and Vietnam. We did a six months trip in this countrys where we stayed almost the half of the time in different workaways.
In Thailand we were helping to fix the Rasta Baby Bar on Koh Phayam for the opening and at the end as waiter.ress in a marvel spot. Few months later we were on another island, Koh Mak, to work in a shelter with lovely dogs rescue by an inspiring and strong women.
In Lao, a four stars hotel hire us as a volunteers to clean a dusty hotel not opened since the COVID and work with the horse and take care of them.
Finally in Cambodia we decided to do a last workaway in Asia, in the Young Wild and Free resort in Koh Kong to work as a bartender, hand kitchen and housekeeper just in front of the beach and the sunset.
After the Vietnam we decide to do a trip in Australia. So between April 2023 and October 2024, we did several jobs as farmer, housekeeper, labor, bartender, landscaper... in Queensland.
We already have been in Japan, Thibaut as a kid with his parents and Marie few months ago. We would loved to share time with local people and help Marie to improve her japanese. In the same time we would love to understand and know the culture of the country.
We have a can do attitude and we are able to do a lot of different jobs that requires a lot of energy but also we can spend cool and relax time with our host.

More details about my language interests
French is our first language of course, we were 1 year and half in Australia and Marie were living in Spain few years ago, so if we can help some people to learn, it would be amazing for us. Marie is learning Japanese since few months, that's her dream to be able to talk with Japanese with the local so she'll be really happy to learn at any time she can.

We are independent and we can make the work by ourself. We have differents skilles, but together we can be a good complementary team.

[Marie] I'm a good cooker, and I can make a meal with what we have in our fridge (Thibaut is a good kitchen clerk and dishwasher haha). In other part, I really love animals in general but especially the dogs (I miss mine in France), so it would be a plus for me if you have pets at home that I could cuddle and take care.
I'm very patient, and if I don't have instruction during a part of the day, I can find a task by myself like clear the house or outside and just see if anybody needs some help.

[Thibaut] I can easily work in an organic farm and with animals. In addition to my job in France, every weekend I was working in a farm of a friend, I was in charge of the organic part of the farm. I have alreaddy work with bees and some sheeps. If we have to built something, with good explication, I can made it by myself or with some help of other volunteers.

If you are a family, we are able to take care of the children, both of us been a babysitter at a point of our life.

To finish, we are good with our hands, and able to do some DIY.

What else ...

[Marie] I like to draw and learn japanese in my free time and I'm sociable, I'll never refuse to have time with other people. I'm an animal lover, have time with dogs, cats... I know how to take care of them and love to do it. Sharing my knowledge and learning about animals, cooking and all I can is one of my priority.

[Thibaut] I'm having a Master in vegetal biology and I will be more then happy to put my knowledge and practice to participate in projects.
I like to hike, specially in the mountains (we were living next to the Pyrenees, famous mountain in France) and take my backpack. During my free time I like to play guitar. Like Marie, I like to share good times with people.

Since Australia, we tried to get back to sport (gym and running).
