Hi there,
My name is Theresa, I am a twenty five year old university student from Münster, Germany. I’m currently finishing my bachelors degree in English and Biology , and when I finished that, the only thing left to complete my studies is a work experience abroad. I want to use this opportunity to make nee experiences, try new things, meet new people and hopefully make some new friends. Sports are an important part of my life, I play Handball and Rugby, I also enjoy hiking, swimming and trying to surf. I love being outdoors, and would describe myself as an energetic and adventurous person, also I’m not afraid to face new challenges and hope to grow as a person within this experience. Another thing I enjoy is playing the guitar or the ukulele and sing along, so I will probably bring my ukulele.Interests

More details about your skills
My skills and abilities are very diverse, as I have already tried a bunch of different things so far. After I graduated from school in 2018, I gained my first Workaway experiences. I worked on a sheep and horse farm in Iceland, helping out in the stables but also taking care of the kids and doing some chores around the house. After that, I stayed with a couple on Vancouver Island, Canada, where I helped around the house and took over some gardening tasks like weeding and planting a new hedge. When I returned home, I took up an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk, where I especially improved my ability to organize myself when facing multiple new tasks. However, after finishing that, I decided that it was not the right path for me, so I started studying English and Biology to potentially become a teacher. I have played team sports my whole life, which taught me to be a team player, be supportive of others, and also coach handball teams of all age ranges.
To summarize, I'm good with kids and not afraid to work with animals. I find it rather easy to adapt to new environments, and I'm open-minded and happy to learn new things. Though I might not be a professional at any of the things I do, I am more of an all-rounder.Age

What else ...
All in all, I'm more of an easy-going person, and I'm really looking forward to a new adventure. I'd love to get to know new people, try new things and learn new skills, while exploring other places in the world.
