Description
Hey there, I'm Conor from Ireland. I've done many jobs over the years from life-guarding to hauling boxes in a warehouse to teaching English. I've just recently finished my Masters degree in Applied Ethics, focusing in particular on military ethics and new AI technologies, so I'm hoping to make the jump to working in the Human Rights field within the next few years.
I have previously worked as an high school English teacher at an international school, and I have a bachelors degree in English & Philosophy, as well as a full TEFL certification, so I'd be delighted to help with a language exchange as well.
(*P.s. I'm trying to become fluent in French - currently at B1 level)
I've previously lived and worked in the middle east, the United States, backpacked across India, Nepal and a lot of South East Asia, and also visited a fair portion of Europe.
I'm always open to new experiences and I'm looking forward to meeting new interesting people and forging new connections. I'm always up for interesting conversations and I rarely make strict travel plans preferring to just go with the flow and see what life offers. Regardless of this, I love the workaway ethos and I would say I am a hard worker when it comes down to it!
So, with that said I hope we meet in the future somewhere nice and I look forward to having interesting conversations and most importantly having a laugh.

I have worked previously as a high school English teacher so I'd be delighted to help with any language exchanges. I'm also a trained swim instructor/ lifeguard and have qualifications in First Aid, CPR and using an AED.
Aside from that I've worked in many different jobs from hotels to hostels, warhouses to office sales, and a lot in between.
Overall I've worked such a variety of jobs I'm sure that even if I can't do something now, I can certainly learn it quickly!Age

What else ...
I love to enjoy the little things in life as I get older! Love nearly all genres of music, seeing new horizons. I'm a philosopher by heart and by education so I would be delighted to engage in deep meaningful conversations - and also lighthearted banter! I love comedy, good TV and movies - I'm quite passionate about film and the arts, and also hiking, trekking, camping, and generally being outdoors exploring.
There's so much to say that I surely can't include everything in a small text box, so I hope to meet you future people in person and make new meaningful connections - I think it's central to a good life!
