Hi!

I'm Tegan and I'm currently travelling Europe and the UK with my partner Sam. We are an Australian couple in our mid-20's who are seeking adventure. After both graduating university in 2021 we went on to get full time jobs in Sustainability for the past couple of years but felt the time was right for a break and to travel the world earlier this year. We have spent the last three months travelling around Europe and more recently have been volunteering working on organic farms around Wales.

I grew up on 40 acre hobby farm in New South Wales with dogs, cats, chickens, horses, some cows and lots of native wildlife. Sam grew up on commercial farm in Western Australia where his family have two beautiful Kelpies and he has been surrounded by animals.

We are both very passionate about sustainability and have a strong connection to nature and the great outdoors. We both love getting out hiking, camping, cycling and spending time at the beach. We are very active people and like to live life outside. When the weather is bad and we're not outside we love to read, cook, hang out with friends, play board games and watch movies.

Tegan - I have a double bachelors degree in Communication & Media Studies and International Studies. While studying I worked in various part time jobs including hospitality, English tutoring and was a nanny for a family with 3 children for a year. Upon graduating I worked for a major corporate accounting firm in their Climate Change and Sustainability team for 1.5 years. In our recent travels we have worked on an organic farm helping a couple to clean up their garden, build bee hotels and plant produce. We have also done some pet sitting recently and love to spend time with animals. As I grew up on a 40 acre hobby farm I have a lot of experience with animals and am happy to look after any household pets as required.

Sam - I have a bachelors degree in Sustainable Development and International Aid, with experience in both large scale agricultural work and sustainability work in a corporate setting at an airport (waste and recycling, water efficiency). Farming is what I grew up in and I have ties to my family farm where I’m continually involved.

We are a social couple but also value our space and privacy. Ideally we would be able to stay in places that accommodate for this. We are eager to build meaningful connections with those we meet and offer our skills in any way that can be helpful.
