We all speak English. We both enjoy cooking. Geof has worked as a military chef. He is also pretty handy and has spent the last year and a half fixing/rebuilding a shed with the hopes of it being a tiny home. He also has a good background in math. Ariane has a good background in gardening and microbiology. She volunteered at a commercial garden while in grad school and has gardened at home for much of her life. She also speaks French.

We are a family of 4. Our children are 4 and 7. We are mainly doing this so that they can learn French in an immersive way. We also think this will be a good age to travel with them.
