I’m open to learning other languages too! The more the merrier :)Skills and knowledge I'd like to share or learn

More details about your skills
I’m currently working as an event planner for a company in my hometown on the West coast of British Columbia.
I organize concerts, workshops and events, create posters and promotional materials and take care of a small garden.
Before that, I was working with my aunt sowing seeds on an organic farm. I have also worked and lived on a Biodynamic farm and take care of my own vegetable and herb garden at home. I’m very interested in subsistence based living and like to forage for edible plants. My partner and I also hunt wild game. Which I love to cook! Cooking for others is one of my big joys in life. I know many vegetarian/non vegetarian recipes and mostly like to use ingredients sourced nearby. I have experience working as a scenic artist and building sets for film. I helped my parents build and finish our home when I was growing up and these skills have informed my life and creative practice.
When I was 13 I joined my first volunteer project and biked 900km over one week doing presentations to raise funds and awareness of the homelessness crisis in British Columbia. A few years later I joined another project - this time raising funds for children to attend school in Sénégal and participating in a cultural exchange there. When I moved to the city for college, I volunteered my time with an organization providing meals to those in need in the community and also conducted workshops with a food sovereignty group.
I’ve been doing yoga for more than 15 years and am a certified instructor, this is something I’m happy to share.
Otherwise, I’m a good homemaker/housekeeper. I can mend and use a sewing machine. I like to think that I can be useful overall :)Age
