Heyo!
I'm Tanja, 23 years old and will travel South America from September, mainly Peru and Ecuador.
I try take every chance I get to travel as it's just such a nice way to learn from other cultures and share experiences together, especially workaway worked really well for me in the past.
So as I will do an internship in Quito, I want to discover Ecuador first.
I'd describe myself as a really open-minded and easy-going person, even though I'm introvert:).
I've always lived close to the Alps, maybe that's the reason why I love mountains and nature in general. Want to do trekking/climbing/mountaineering in the Andes!

I have no problem with physical work (honestly I somestimes prefer it rather than just sitting around :). I also like to learn new skills, whether it is carpentry, sustainability, animal care...
Got some technical experience through working in event industry and other jobs I did before.
As I'm studying Electrical Engineering/ Computer Science I also know how to handle Computer:)
In the past, I was volunteering in a husky kennel in Northern Norway where I also started guiding tours. I was helping out as well in a small hostel for climbers in Spain and in a bedouin camp in the desert in Jordan.
