Hello World!
We are Irfaan (from South Africa) and Helen (from Germany) aka 'Tandemonium' (used only for the purpose of this site!).
Having both lived and worked in London, UK for the last two decades we thought that life's too short and the world is big so why not get a tandem and become nomads?.
Tandem 'Foxy' joined the crew in November 2021 and in April 2023 we left our jobs, gave away pretty much all of our 'stuff' and said Goodbye to our beautiful neighbourhood in Colliers Wood to start a new adventure, living life differently.
First visiting our family and friends in France, Germany, Czech Republic and Austria we will continue...'Where to?' and 'For how long?' are the most frequently asked questions we get. The answers remain vague at best. Maybe they are far too complex to be answered. Or maybe we just don't know the answers (yet). And maybe that's kind of the point. Living in the here and now and learning to live with uncertainty, a very valuable skill to have in our fragile world.
'Why?' or 'What for?' are close seconds. Maybe we'll meet one day and have a good, long chat about it. :) All we know is it feels good to move our bodies, be in nature all day and night and absorb all the sights, sounds, tastes, sensations and smells this world has to offer.
We feel joining this platform and connecting with a worldwide community of like-minded people is just a natural progression on our journey allowing us to see different perspectives, learn new skills and languages and ever expanding our horizons.
