My next destination:
Italy - from Apr 2025 until Jun 2025 View allDescription
I have been a pilgrim around the world for some time now, so a lot has accumulated along the way. I don't like to talk about my achievements, I prefer to listen to others. I understand the conventions of this community, so I will say a few words about myself. My friends and neighbors call me Santa Claus. I hope it's not just because of my long white beard. I try to help those in need without any self-interest, and I am not indifferent to injustice. I spent some time in India on a mission to help excluded children (coming from environments determined by leprosy). I don't even have to go from Europe to Asia to support my brothers and sisters, it's enough to look around the area to see how many people are lonely, elderly, abandoned by their families, or with alcohol (mental) problems. I am not indifferent, I always try to help. I believe in the principle of non-cash neighborly help. Exchange of experiences and skills not for profit. From my early youth, I was guided by cognitive courage. I was and still am interested in the world. How people around me live, love and believe in. At first my compatriots and then people all over the world. I managed to explore dozens of countries on four continents. I travelled on foot, hitchhiking, cycling, kayaking (including sea kayaks), by car, train, ship and plane. Along the way I worked as a gardener (among other things I made stone gardens in Scandinavia) I tended flowers, planted vegetables and trees. I have a real estate manager education and I did this professionally in Poland (I also studied at art schools). When I hit the road I worked as a carpenter and joiner in Canada, Italy and Scandinavia. I built houses and farm buildings. In Norway I was the head of a construction team for several years and together we built several impressive houses. I did renovations and painted. I worked on farms, cultivated the land and milked 40 cows (of course it was impossible to do this amount by hand). I can be self-sufficient, live in the forest or by the ocean, practice permaculture, live off-grid, feed cats, dogs and horses. I do not forget about prayer, poetry, literature and music, I explore the life of the desert fathers. I have travelled almost all of Europe alone by bike in two years. My base is the land on a hill in the beautiful valley of the Czarna Hańcza river, where it flows into the deepest and cleanest lake in Poland. I built a house here myself (Earthship house type) and an outbuilding. This year, when it gets warmer, I plan to build a guest house in the Japanese style made of burnt wood. When it is winter, I miss the sun in Poland and I miss warm countries. I am constantly curious about the world, new people with whom I want to share myself, cooperate and learn new things. To reach where the eyes cannot reach.
