Description
I have wanted to see the world for as long as I can remember. Culture and new ways of life fascinate me and I am keen to learn more about other people and places, as well as myself! I thrive on adventure and fun but also find huge value in the little things in life, taking time to appreciate the beauty all around us in the world. I bring a positive, can-do attitude to all aspects of life and am good at staying calm and reassuring those around me in stressful situations.
I have grown up in the Peak District making me passionate about nature and the environment. I love spending time outdoors, on big walks and wild swimming, I believe we can learn so much from nature. I have also been incredibly lucky to grow up surrounded by animals so I am very experienced in animal care and getting my hands dirty. I love animals and would be keen to spend time/work with them. Creativity and art are very important to me, I love painting, reading and listening to music and am always keen to hear about others' tastes or recommendations. I'm also really interested in photography and videography, I think they can be beautiful ways of capturing special moments in life so this is something I would love to explore more of!

More details about your skills
I have been working for the last 5 years in roles including shopkeeping, waitressing, bar staff and horse livery. Whilst shopkeeping, I have been left independently responsible for the shop as well as helping with staff training. My time in hospitality has given me great teamwork and interpersonal skills and allowed me to become used to dealing with people of all ages. I am trusted to be responsible for other peoples' pets, including horses and dogs, and take care of them to a high standard.
I have completed voluntary work experience in a primary school which gave me insight and skills in working with children. I am the oldest cousin in a big family so I have grown to love interacting with and looking after younger members of my family. I also have a wide network of family friends with young children who I find incredibly fun to care for and play with.
Owning a horse requires me to have a high level of commitment and dedication, as well as being used to early starts! Horse care also means I am capable and confident doing tasks involving physical labour and strength. I also have experience gardening and helping with DIY work.
I love to cook and regularly make meals and snacks for my friends and family who always ask for seconds :) I am passionate about healthy, sustainable, and most importantly delicious and fun food! I cook and taste food from as many cultures as possible, as well as making up recipes with random available ingredients.
I am used to helping out around the house, undertaking tasks such as washing up, tidying, hoovering and cleaning. I love to have a dance whilst cleaning, a good song can make anything fun!
