Dia dhaoibh! (‘Hello to all’ - in Gaelic)

I am an adventurous, positive and creative 27 year old from Ireland.
My curiosity of how others live their lives has brought me on what I predict to be a lengthily exploration of the world, starting in Australia.
Leaving Ireland to travel the world after I graduated from Art College was a dream I had since my schooldays. Various life events happened which paused that dream until last year, when I got on a plane to Melbourne.

I am excited by the creative arts, indigenous cultures, sustainable living and human interaction. Having grown up speaking the Irish language and being deeply immersed in the traditional cultures of Ireland, I seek to fully immerse myself in the rich and diverse cultures of the world.

The last 10+ years of my working life have been spent designing and building interactive art installations for personal projects and for music festivals in Ireland, managing and curating cultural events, opening a beachside seafood café in the north coast of Ireland, landscaping construction & treading the hospitable trenches of bars, restaurants, café’s et al!

Having studied graphic design at University, I have a keen eye for detail and a great skill in problem solving and being resourceful.

I am comfortable with power tools.

Having built art installations over the years primarily out of timber and recycled materials, I enjoy the task on constructing albeit unconventional as I am not formally trained, I am excited by learning new skills and the satisfaction of new challenges!

Landscaping, home gardening and labouring in the harsh Irish climate has instilled deep determination and resilience in me!

I am extremely hardworking and will put my hand to anything, I'm a quick learner and enthusiastic in all my working endeavours!
