Description

I'm 24 years old & taking a break from college to gain more life experiences and refocus on my goals. I really want to help people and gain skills to make a positive impact-- whether that's through education, sustainable land practices, mutual aid, natural sciences, community building, or something I haven't discovered yet. It's very hard to choose one area to focus on when so many are intriguing and worthwhile.
I'm fluent in English and used to be fluent in Spanish until I fell out of practice, but I want to learn as many languages as I can. I love nature, from fungi and insects and birds and farm animals to understanding big-picture ecological relationships and land histories.
I'm very passionate about the environment and social justice and building community.
I have past experience working as a gardener/landscaper, tutor, summer camp counselor, and daycare assistant.
All my life, I've lived in either California or Utah but have always wanted to spend time in other countries and cultural contexts. I enjoy working with children and believe all people deserve respect, regardless of age. I avoid eating meat but would feel differently if it was ethically sourced. I like rock climbing, hiking, reading, playing games, doing crafts, watching movies, and trying new things.
