  • Description

I find joy in connecting deeply with others and myself, whether this be through yoga and meditation, writing and reading, gardening and dancing, or simply enjoying a cup of tea. love long curious conversations and learning more about myself and the world around me.

I've been practicing yoga for about 3 years which, alongside my daily meditation routine has brought me peace and serenity. I'm big on wellness and learning to heal individually but also as a collective. I've been sober for almost two years which has been part of my healing journey.

I've been writing ever since I can remember. I love journaling which has been a part of my everyday for almost 8 years. I also write poetry and enjoy sharing this at open-mic nights when I get the chance.

I have decided to leave my home in London to explore the world and see what else is out there. This next year of my life, my 26th year, feels like one in which I'm called to be a spiritual cowboy. So indeed, that is what I am here to do.

  • More details about your skills

In the past, I have volunteered on a sustainable regenerative vegetable farm. Whilst helping out I carried out tasks such as laying woodchip paths, repotting plants, mixing soil and laying beds. I have many houseplants myself, a keen interest in plant life, and a strong willingness to take on new challenges!

I have worked in hospitality for the past 8 years and as such am fully adept at providing great customer service, creating beautiful coffees, soft drinks, and alcoholic beverages.

I've built wooden furniture before with my dad from scratch which was a really rewarding and enjoyable experience. I wouldn't go as far to say I am a competent carpenter yet, however I am eager to learn and give it my best as it is an activity I thoroughly enjoy.

I am confident in my ability to throw a great meal together. I enjoy cooking and have had years of practice having cooked for myself and my family for the past 10 years. Similarly, I am well house trained regarding cleaning and tidying - give me all the cleaning products you have and I could be at it for hours!

As a freelance writer, poet, and English graduate, I am not only fluent in English but also experienced in creative and academic writing. I would love to make use of these skills and my passion for reading and writing wherever possible. I've run writing workshops in the past and would be happy to share my skillset with you.

I also have a counselling skills qualification and a real interest in helping others. I believe in community, connection, and the power of talking therapy. Alongside my writing practice, I have used talking therapy to help myself and some of those around me to feel at ease with themselves and others. This has tied in with writing workshops I have led in the past.

Lastly, whilst I have no yoga teaching qualifications, I would happily share with you everything I have learnt over the past 3 or so years about yoga! Yoga has been so much fun for me and a constant challenge in my life and I am confident in my ability, having attended many a yoga class, that I could pass on what I know.

  • What else ...

I have many varying interests and love learning new information.

It must be known that I am a big movie fan - I could spend a long time debating the best movies of the horror genre or watching a movie marathon. Similarly, I love a good book and am always thrilled to receive recommendations and share my reviews with others.

I also love discovering new music and its history so I'm always up to discuss what you're currently listening to and share my playlists.

I am a nature girl at heart despite having lived in the big smoke for the past 5 years. I specifically geek out on funghi and mycelium, but love learning any details about plant life and the wonders of the world.

I love sitting down to play a game of cards, I have a few up my sleeve that I can teach you and I'm always eager to learn new ones!

Lastly, I've been learning to read tarot cards for a little while which has been really fulfilling and compliments both my interest in creative writing and talking therapy.
