Hi, we’re Tabby and Sophie, 2 friends from England. We’ll be travelling Central America this winter and would love to be a part of some Workaway’s. We love to travel and enjoy taking things slow. We are hardworking and happy to help any tasks needed. We believe we’re hardworking and will try to be of the most use we can possibly be. We’d be incredibly grateful for the opportunity to join some local hosts, to immerse ourselves in local country, learn more about local communities, practice our Spanish and enjoy taking things slow and getting an authentic travel experience.

We both have experience in the restaurant and hospitality sector so believe we can easily adapt to any work requiring restaurant/bar/cafe work. Tabby also has experience working as a hotel receptionist so would be well suited to these roles. We believe we’re hardworking and adaptable and can easily pick up new skills required for different roles. We both have masters degrees in advanced biological sciences which developed key skills in planning, teamwork, communication. We also both taught English in Thailand last year for 6 months which we thoroughly enjoyed helping in the local community and working with children to develop core language skills.

We both love to read. We also like to work out. We enjoy swimming. Whilst in Thailand we took Muay Thai classes which we throughly enjoyed. We love to immerse ourselves in new cultures and communities, exploring cities and nature, tasting local foods and interacting with locals. After spending 9 months in SouthEast Asia we developed a passion for travel and exploring the world.
