People generally describe me as a very versatile and pragmatic person, with an insatiable curiosity and natural ability to learn and adapt to anything life throws at me. Having lived abroad in a boarding school since the age of thirteen I am well accustomed to an independent lifestyle, cultural diversity and the obstacles of a language barrier. Through my open and enthusiastic attitude I have had the privilege to gain experiences in a very diverse range of fields, including all sorts of outdoor activities, a large number of team sports, the Gold Duke of Edinburgh award, work with a variety of animals, especially horses and dogs, but also volunteering work with children both in the setting of teaching, through my TEFL certification and looking after children with varying physical and mental disabilities.

Next to my passion for travel and learning about new places and cultures, I love being outdoors, immersed in nature, and I am a huge animal lover! I also really enjoy doing all sorts of sports including football, hockey, athletics, long distance running, scuba diving, sailing, horse riding, rounders, and so on. Aside from this, I am a deeply caring person and plan to pursue my passion for helping others through studying clinical psychology and working in a psychotherapeutic setting, preferably with children and animals.
