Description

Hello! My name is Smilla, I’m 22 years old, and I’m currently studying architecture in Bremen. Last year, I had the amazing opportunity to do a six-week internship as an architecture student in Seville, which I thoroughly enjoyed.

I love traveling within the EU, and in my free time, I’m passionate about dancing Salsa and Bachata. I also enjoy pottery, being creative, and playing badminton. Singing is one of my favorite activities, and I love spending time outdoors in nature.

I’m very interested in watersports and am a member of a windsurfing club in Bremen. I love windsurfing and hold a VDWS license. I also enjoy stand-up paddling, and I’d love to try regular surfing or kitesurfing as well.

My father owns a farm, and because of that, I’ve developed a deep love for working with animals. I also have a few younger siblings, so I’m very comfortable taking care of children and love playing with them. In general, I’m a big fan of board games.

I’m very interested in learning both French and Spanish. In school, I studied Latin, which sparked my fascination with Romance languages since I can often derive meanings from my knowledge of Latin. However, I’m not the fastest learner when it comes to languages, as subjects like math come more naturally to me.

I have quite a good skill set when it comes to working with wood. I initially started studying mechanical engineering, although I didn’t complete the degree. However, during that time, I trained as an industrial mechanic, which means I’m proficient in working with machines and have learned metalworking techniques.

I also have a strong passion for working in the garden and being in nature, including working with animals. I enjoy taking on both small and large tasks in and around the house.
