Hello and thank you for your interest in my profile. I am Silas from Munich in Germany, almost 19 years old. After graduating from high school last year, I am traveling through Alberta and British Columbia during my Gap Year. Kanda's breathtaking nature and its wonderful people have been inspiring me since mid-January and I am looking forward to my future adventures in this amazing country before I start my university studies in the fall.
I love the outdoors and wildlife very much, am active and sporty. Furthermore I am family-oriented, sociable, hard-working and love getting things done. Working outdoors is what I enjoy most, even if it's strenuous work. But I also like to lend a hand around the house and help out wherever I can. As the eldest child in my family, I have always helped a lot around the house and in the garden, looked after our animals and cared for my younger siblings. As a work and traveler, I have also gained extensive experience in housework and gardening, childcare, animal care and many other tasks. I really enjoyed all of that and learned a lot.
In my spare time I love mountain biking, hiking, snowboarding, kayaking, fishing, surfing and wakeboarding. Animals are close to my heart, we have a dog, cats, turtles, chickens and axolotls. I play double bass, piano and some drums. In my family we laugh a lot and enjoy spending time together. I'm easy-going and open-minded, have a positive attitude to life and a good work ethic.
PS: I don't drink or smoke and lead a healthy lifestyle. I have an international driving license, a work permit, a valid first aid certificate and an impeccable criminal record.Interests

I am good at helping children learn for school and playing with them. Math was always my favorite subject in school, but I can also help with other subjects.

I also know my way around computers and could help with IT issues.
