Hello!

My name is Mitch and I am travelling with my fiance Siena. We are desert dwellers from Arizona, but have spent the last year living in our old VW van traveling all over North America with our dog. Our travels taught us that we love to travel slow, experiencing other cultures by staying with people locally.

Both of us are former professionals who have stepped away from work to pursue the adventures we love in life. The two of us have a passion for nature and fill our time by hiking, biking, rafting, camping and climbing. Mitch likes to tinker with anything that has a motor, and Siena enjoys fiber art and painting. We compliment each others personalities very well with lots of humor and love.

We would like to continue our journey this spring by travelling and sharing our personal skills in exchange for a few laughs and a great time in a country new to us.

I (Mitch) am a former aerospace engineer but have learned a lot of trades throughout the years and worked lots of odd jobs. I am a quick learner who can approach any job calmly.

- Proficient with computers and math (former engineer)
- Wilderness first responder, CPR and swiftwater rescue certified
- Athletic no issues with physical work, lifting heavy weights, etc.
- Childcare (volunteered for youth mentor program)
- Handyman/construction or any DIY project (electrical, plumbing and framing)
- Mechanic (cars, lawn equipment, dirt bikes)
- Animal lover; have a rescue dog in the states we can't bring :(
- Welding

Siena:
- Former health & safety engineer
- Wilderness First Responder (WFR), CPR and swiftwater rescue certified
- Previously worked as a tutor for elementary students
- Animal care: Dog & bunny owner
- Cooking, cleaning & other chores are no problem
- Great physical fitness!

What else ...

Mitch: I love pursuing new paths in life and along the way. It has taken me everywhere from engineering to raft guiding in the Grand Canyon. I'm always up for a good time and will try just about any new food at least once.

Siena: I have excellent work ethic, love being outdoors, and am incredibly reliable. Looking forward to where this adventure will take us!
