Description
Konnichwa! I am Shin from mountainous local area in Japan.
I have just graduated from university and decided to do a gap year before I start working.
I love languages and studied linguistics, SLA education. And I love kids so I took a degree of pedagogy.
Though I have only traveled in Japan, my dream has been to visit Nordic countries.
Learning new languages has been one of my lifetime hobbies. so I would love to spend time practicing it and experiencing the vibrant cultures that go along with it. Now I’m into Finnish and Spanish.
Some of my favorite things to do basketball, reading, hiking, exercising, and stargazing.
I cannot wait to try local foods, especially since they will be so different from what I am used to in JapaneseInterests

More details about your skills
My skills are mainly based around language.
Through my university and volunteer opportunities, I have had experience teaching language classes as well as one on one tutoring. I can teach Japanese and English.
Skills that I have learned outside of school are from working in the car rental company.
Along with serving customers and maintaining cars in the shop, I also introduce popular stuff in Japan.
This actually helped me to learn English and so much, along with little bits of other languages.
Interacting with people from all over the world gave me confidence in my own language abilities and made me realize how much I want to go see other places.Age

What else ...
I must admit, I am not the best cook in the world, but I do enjoy it.
If you are interested in learning about Japanese food, I can teach you some of the local dishes that I had growing up.
Though I might not have a ton of experience to offer, what I do have is a willingness to try new things.
I want to learn new ideas and have fun adventures!
Cultural exchange is what this gap year is all about for me. And that should be phenomenal experience for my career goal. Some more information
