Hi all! We are a laid back, hardworking American couple from California traveling Australia on working holiday visas! As recent college graduates, we want to do some long term travel before we come back to California and settle down with big boy jobs (whatever that means). We are very outdoorsy and love a good adventure off the beaten path. We love to surf and be by the beach and would ideally like to live and work by the coast, but open to other options more inland as well. We both have great work ethics and will be up to pretty much any challenge you put us to. If you're looking for a pair of friendly, easy going, and might I add hilarious people that will hang out with you by the beach all day, look no further!

Shannon:
- Childcare: I have several years of childcare experience with pretty much any age you can think of! I worked at an infant care center for children ages 0-2 for many years, as well as have nannied and tutored for kids of many other ages (2-12) throughout my life.
- Hospitality: I have some hospitality experience as a stewardess through the maritime industry (yachting), so I can scrub a bathroom or make a bed like nobody's business.
- Cooking: I have experience cooking both on boats and in industrial kitchens on land and would like to think I can make some tasty things (I also used to be vegetarian and love cook fresh veggie friendly meals!). I worked as a cook/stewardess on several yachts and as a cook in a large kitchen at a rural camp in the California Sierra mountains.
Maritime: Like I said above, I worked on boats with Aaron for several months and have some knowledge of how to operate (hospitality-wise) on a vessel. I would love to learn even more about the industry, specifically more about sailing!

Aaron:
I have a passion for working with my hands, helping where I can, and spending time outdoors in the mountains or the ocean. I come from a background in the Emergency Medical Services area working as an Emergency Medical Technician in conjunction with being an ocean lifeguard and rescue boat swimmer. I also have a bachelors degree in Industrial Design, where I learned to craft streamline and detailed products by hand. I am very competent designing, building, and finishing! Shannon and I worked on boats together last year, which gave me experience being a deckhand and providing attentive customer service as well. I can’t get enough of the outdoors and would love to help you anyway I can!

Both:
-Building/property maintenance: we are both currently gaining lots experience through work exchanges doing property renovation/maintenance/construction projects and have been loving it! We've done lots of painting, paving, carpentry, weeding, gardening, you name it!
