Hi there! It's Serena and Pietro, we both come from a place where the sun always shines: Sicily!
We are both Psychologists, working in a primary school with children who require support; at the moment we live together in Turin, in the northen of Italy.
Yes, we have a lot of things in common but we are also different in many ways...
Serena is really in love with life and she has always a big smile for everyone. What recharge her the most is bing travelling, meeting new people, animals, places; listening to life stories of people with a different culture, and she is always opening up to the possibility of changing herself day after day based on what she experience. She is a very emotional and spiritual person, she really likes dedicating time listening to herself, with meditation or yoga.
Pietro is a really curious person, he could go into detail with everything! He likes to do things with precision and putting a lot of effort in them. He is always open to learn new things and he really enjoys reading and building his own ideas about the world around him. He is always friendly and pacific, and tends to put positive vibes in his social enviroment.
We both feel a strong connection with nature and we appreciate every second we spend in it. Our favorite type of travel is with just a backpack, a camera and simple accomodations.
We both love animals and we are always ready to give them love.
In recent years we have developed a strong interest in eco-sustainable life, and now we feel the need to have a field experience that can enrich us in this sense. This is what we expect and hope to find with workaway experience!

As psychologists, we are pretty good at listening (really!!) and trying to understand the people we relate to.
We really like cooking and since we became vegetarian we have experimented different plant-based recipes.
We recently worked in a school with children and we know well how to relate with them.
Pietro has developed knowledge in crafting and camping from his boyscout experience. In different occasions he lived for days in nature building his own shelter and using what nature provides.
He is also really good with technology.
Serena is studying to become an advanced yoga teacher so he knows how to lead a yoga class: and she also knows different forms of meditation (she has a mindfulness certificate).
