Hey there! I'm Selina from Germany and I study landscape architecture and environmental planning. Growing up in a small village I have always been close to nature and I enjoy it a lot. I'm open-minded, curious and considerate, and traveling has always been something I was interested in!

I made experiences at different working places during and after school. I would say I'm a quick learner, curious and happy to acquire new skills during my time with Workaway!
At home, me and my sister often helped my family with gardening, timber harvest, building projects and other things. Now I live in a shared flat and doing chores independently is a given for me.
For a few months, I worked on a farm with animals such as chickens, sheep, geese, donkeys and ducks. I did all kinds of tasks there like cleaning the holiday apartments, harvesting from orchards, cooking for a lot of people and of course, taking care of the animals.
For a long time, I worked at a bakery and later at a Café where I gained skills about working with customers and in a team. Handling multiple tasks at once was also very important especially when there was a lot to do.
I love being outdoors and to spend time on trips like canoeing, camping or making a campfire. I enjoy working with and getting to know new people, but I also need time for myself to recharge my battery.
