こんにちは！セバスティアンとブルクハルトです。

セバスティアン: 私はドイツに住んで働いていますが、元々はアルゼンチン出身で、過去にはスペインやフランスにも住んでいました。若いボランティアとの異文化交流のトレーナーや、語学教師（スペイン語とドイツ語）および翻訳者として働いています。私は言語と文学に情熱を持っており（余暇には短編小説を書いています）、自然が大好きで、手を使った作業も好きです。過去には友人の大工と一緒に彼の工房で働いたこともあり、それは素晴らしい経験でした。私はオープンで共感力があり、他人に対して尊敬の念を持ち、聞き上手です。また、非常に整理整頓が得意で、仕事では方法論的で細部にまで気を配ります。

ブルクハルト: ドイツのテューリンゲン州のエアフルトで生まれ、現在ベルリンに11年間住んでいます。私はソーシャルワーカーとして働いており、社会に再統合しようとしている人々をサポートしています。音楽が大好きで（フルートとクラリネットを演奏します）、自然（特にキノコ！）も好きで、時々DJもしています。さらに、料理を楽しんだり、アンティークが好きだったりします。私は共感力があり、思いやりがあり、チーム志向の人間です。

私たちは初めて日本を訪れたのは2018年で、3週間滞在しました。私たちの日本とその文化への情熱は何年も前から続いています。映画、文学、音楽、言語など、多くのことに魅了されています。今年、ついに日本語を学び始めることに決め、次の旅行でも続けて、今後の数年間でさらに深めていきたいと思っています。

こんにちは! We are Sebastián and Burghart.

Sebastián: I live and work in Germany, but I am originally from Argentina and have also lived in Spain and France in the past. I work as a trainer for intercultural work with young volunteers, as well as a language teacher (Spanish and German) and translator. I am passionate about languages and literature (I write short stories in my spare time). I also have a passion for nature and love working with my hands: in the past, I collaborated with a carpenter friend in his workshop, which was fantastic. I am an open and empathetic person, respectful towards others, and a good listener; I am also very organized, methodical, and detail-oriented in my work.

Burghart: Born in Erfurt (Thuringia, Germany), I have been living in Berlin for 11 years now. I work as a social worker and support people who want to reintegrate into society. I love music (I play the flute and clarinet), nature (especially mushrooms!), and occasionally DJ. Additionally, I enjoy cooking and like antiques. I am an empathetic, considerate, and team-oriented person.

We first visited Japan for three weeks in 2018. Our passion for the country and its culture is many years old: we are fascinated by film, literature, music, language, and much more. This year we finally decided to start learning Japanese, something we plan to continue on our next trip and deepen in the coming years.

Why Workaway? Through our personal and professional experience, we know very well the power intercultural exchange can have in a foreign country. セバスティアン: 私はアルゼンチンのブエノスアイレス大学で文学を学び、その後さまざまな国に住みました。異文化交流のトレーナーや語学教師として働いており、人と接する多くの経験を積んできました。私はオープンでとても忍耐強く、尊敬の念を持ち、整理整頓が得意です。私の職業経験は多岐にわたります。たとえば、ホテルのフロントで働いていたこともありますし、大工の助手としても働いたことがあります。また、ドイツに来たばかりの頃、ドイツ語を学びながらホテルで清掃の仕事をしていました。手を使った作業が好きで、物を修理することもよくあります。また、料理や自然も好きです。私は好奇心旺盛で、新しいことを学ぶのが大好きです。教えること（主にスペイン語と少しのドイツ語）のほかに、言語を学ぶことも楽しんでいます。今年、日本語を少し学び始め、旅行中も続けていきたいと思っています。

ブルクハルト: 私は応用科学大学で社会福祉を学び、それ以来この分野で働いています。人々と一緒に、彼らが変更または適応したいと望む生活の領域を分析し、評価しています。過去には、幼稚園、老人ホーム、病院、学校で働いていました。現在は統合支援の仕事をしています。ヨーロッパの国境を越えた多くの旅行を通じて、多くの異なる人々と出会いました。音楽への情熱から、ベルリンでイベントを企画しています。

Sebastián: I studied literature at the University of Buenos Aires in Argentina and then lived in various countries. I work as a trainer for intercultural work and as a language teacher, so I have gained a lot of experience working with people; I am open, very patient, respectful, and organized. My professional experience is diverse: for example, I used to work at a hotel reception, but also as a carpenter's assistant, and during my first years in Germany, while learning German, cleaning at a hotel. I enjoy working with my hands and usually repair things; I also like cooking and nature. I am curious and love learning new things. Besides teaching (mainly Spanish, and a bit of German), I enjoy learning languages. This year, I started learning a bit of Japanese and would like to continue with it on my trip.

Burghart: I studied social work at the University of Applied Sciences and have been working in this field ever since. Together with people, I analyze and evaluate areas of life that they wish to change or adapt. In the past, I have worked in kindergartens, nursing homes, hospitals, and schools. Currently, I am working in integration assistance. Through many trips beyond European borders, I have met many different people. Due to my passion for music, I organize events in Berlin.

セバスティアン: 小説、物語、エッセイを読むのが大好きで、音楽（ジャズ、クラシック、モダンなど）を聴くのも好きです。また、良い会話を楽しむのが好きです。泳ぐことやジョギング、長い散歩やサイクリング、新しい場所を発見することが大好きです。

ブルクハルト: 料理がとても好きで、レシピを交換したり、さまざまな料理を探求したりしたいと思っています。肉体労働をいとわないですが、手先が器用というわけではありません。 :)

Sebastián: I love reading (novels, stories, essays), listening to music (jazz, classical, modern...), and having good conversations. I enjoy swimming and jogging, taking long walks and bike rides, and discovering new places.

Burghart: I really enjoy cooking and would love to exchange recipes and explore different cuisines. I don't shy away from physical work—though I'm not particularly skilled at crafts. :)
