I am a dynamic individual with a unique cultural background, being half Irish and half German. Born in the historically significant town of Weimar, Germany, I have been immersed in a rich cultural heritage from a young age. At the age of 12, I moved to Dublin, Ireland, where I fell in love with the relaxed lifestyle and the close connection to nature that the Irish cherish.
My passion for travel stems from a desire to enhance my language skills and to gain a deeper understanding of different cultures and the people who live in them. I am open to a variety of work environments, including farms, animal care, and homeless shelters. My flexibility, strong work ethic, and enjoyment of working with people make me a valuable addition to any team.

I am deeply interested in learning languages. I already speak Irish, German, and English fluently, and have basic proficiency in French, Italian, and some Chinese. My goal for the coming year is to improve my French, Italian, and Chinese through immersive travel experiences. While it can be challenging to find opportunities to practice these languages in major cities where English is widely spoken, I am eager to overcome this by engaging with local communities and immersing myself in their cultures.

I bring a wealth of experience and skills to the table. I have worked for a charity for many years, which has honed my ability to work compassionately and effectively with diverse groups of people. Additionally, I am proficient in teaching both English and German, thanks to my bilingual background. My experience in a management company has further developed my organizational and interpersonal skills.
Recently, I took on the challenge of renovating my sister’s 100-year-old house, which was in dire need of repair. This project involved cleaning up the garden, putting up walls, and restoring the house to its former glory. This hands-on experience has equipped me with practical skills in renovation and a strong sense of my own skill set.

I have a variety of hobbies and interests. I am passionate about history and enjoy exploring historical sites and learning about different cultures. I have a keen interest in fermentation, and I make my own kombucha, kimchi, sauerkraut, water kefir, and even brew beer. Gardening is another passion of mine; I completed a course in forest gardening in the UK. To stay active, I practice yoga regularly, which helps keep my joints flexible. While I joke about being a good country western dancer, I have actually dabbled in Irish dancing—though I prefer not to perform it .
