Description
Hey there! I'm Sarah, 22 years old, and ready for adventure! For the past year I have been travelling around Europe. I started off with a life changing workaway in a community in Germany, and I have done several English teaching jobs in France and Spain. Connecting with fellow humans from all kinds of backgrounds and experiences has been bringing me great joy.
If I had to describe myself I would say I am optimistic, sociable and hard-working. What I love the most in life is being close to nature, surrounded by interesting people. I like to spend every free hour of my day doing sports or exploring. Lately I have been playing a lot of frontón and I just picked up Gaelic football. Also I am fond of playing board games.
I can contribute to workaway projects in a lot of ways. I am not necessarily a pro at construction or anything, but I pick things up fairly quickly and I will always put my soul into my work. In a previous workaway I have learnt how to build walls, disassemble kitchens, plaster walls and work with electricity wires.
I have loads of experience working with kids; I have been a nanny for eight years and I have been a teacher for four years. Playing with kids, exploring and being creative together gives me a lot of energy.
I know quite a bit about nature and animal care. My father is a biologist and an absolute ecology nerd, and he has taught me all he knows. I love spending time with animals and taking care of them. I am not hesitant to clean up after them either. :P
I have experience with basic jobs around the house. I make home cooked food every night. To be fair, I don't think I have the potential to become a professional chef, but it for sure is healthy!Interests

She was very open and easy to be around. At the construction side she did a lot of different tasks and learned how to do a great variety of everything ;)
She also appeared to get along with the other volunteers easily and was always up for activities after work :)
I would definitely recommend inviting… read more
