Description
I am passionate about sustainability and travel and am taking a gap year to explore both! After earning my Permaculture Design Certification at Kibbutz Lotan in December 2022, I am excited to implement my new skills. I enjoy reading, learning, taking care of my garden, and spending time with my family.

In December 2022, I attended a month-long Permaculture Design Certification course at Kibbutz Lotan, in Israel, and I previously attended casual permaculture classes. These experiences have equipped me to implement permaculture design, composting, and especially gardening techniques with confidence. The PDC program also made me especially excited to put into practice my mostly-theoretical knowledge about biogas, humanure, sustainable construction, and wastewater recycling systems. I have my own compost pile, vegetable garden, and flock of chickens. Additionally, I have some farming skills from internships on two organic farms.
