Seeing the beauty in all the world that it has to offer, the peace and tranquility of the sunrise or sunset, I find inspiring to just be the best I can be. Living in the here and now are dear to me.

I've come to Portugal to start a new chapter in life after a divorce that left me with no other choice but to start over again.
A carpenter by trade, I can build and problem solve. I have been a commercial fisherman for ten seasons. I've had various other occupations in the off season such as cooking, serving, housekeeping and shipbuilding. I've developed a wide variety of skills over the years to say the least.
I am hoping to find a place in the Algarve to settle into for the winter, preferably in a smaller community.

I have a wide diversity of skills that I've developed in the construction,fishing, manufacturing and hospitality industries. I'm comfortable as a grill cook, bartender/ server. Was a professional cleaner in a resort town with very high standards. (Whistler,B.C.). I'm very courteous and polite with people. I'm also experienced in painting, plumbing/electrical , building maintenance. I've worked on a variety of farms, operating tractors,forklift and doing the maintenance of machinery. I also built greenhouses, germination rooms, seedling racks. Planting, weeding and harvesting of a variety of vegetables.
As an independent contractor for the last 18 years I've built many decks and fences and have a passion for gardening, landscaping and masonry.

I love music. Can play a few instruments at a basic level and guitar is my main instrument. Live to surf and snowboard.
An artisan by hobby, I enjoy being creative doing various things like sculpting, carving, woodworking and painting when time allows. Would love the opportunity to get into a studio again. An avid Gardner with a passion for landscaping, making relaxing areas of Calm and beauty.
