  • Description

I grew up in a small village in Belgium but I quickly grew bored of it because I'm really adventerous. My dream is to see as much of the world as possible and to meet lots of people during my journey. While I'm at a new place I would also like to meet the local people, because I think it'll help me to better understand the culture. Diving into an unknown culture has always been a good and interesting experience for me.

For now my best experiences have been my Erasmus studying abroad in Cyprus and an archaeology internship in Turkey.

A little bit about myself: I like sports (especially football) and I love all sorts of animals. I have a bachelor degree in archaeology and I'm overall interested in history, geography and heritage.
Altough I may look shy when you first meet me, I became a very social person once you get to know me who is always in for a spontaneous adventure

  • More details about your skills

I have studied languages and economics in high school, so this means that (other than my native language Dutch) I can speak English fluently. Writing and reading isn't a problem either. I can also get by in French and German. I also studied modern Greek.
Basic economics is also no problem for me. I'm fairly good at math. At my previous job as a bookshop clerk I also had to work the cash register, which wasn't ever a problem. At this job I was also responsible for the social media, so I know how to engage online on platforms like Instagram and Facebook.

My last two jobs were being a farm hand and a logistical assistant at a refugee centre. Both jobs required a lot of problem-solving skills, where I had to be inventive in order to fix all sorts of problems as quickly and good as possible. At these two jobs I learned many different handyman skills.

I've also worked as an archaeologist, which can be both very exhausting as well as having to be very precise. You have to be focused the whole time your working.

Other than that I've had a lot of student jobs, like working as a mailman or a painter. I've also worked at a company where I had to use cameras, microphones, music installations... so I know my way around this. I've tried many different student jobs to acquire multiple skills in multiple fields so I can work at many different places.

  • What else ...

I like to make jokes and watch a good comedian.
I also enjoy many different forms of games like board games, video games, sport games and so on. As long as I can do things with other people I will enjoy it.
I'm always in for an spontaneous adventure!
