Hey ! We're Samy and Marine, been two best friends for years. We're passionate about taking on new challenges, travelling, learning, discovering new cultures. We love hiking, and marveling at nature, untouched nature is dear to us, so being off-grid, isolated, is not an issue as we know how to keep busy !

I'm Samy, 23 and on a gap year to explore the world and enrich myself, after getting my master's degree in Art school ! I'm so thrilled about whatever I'll experience this year, travelling is my n°1 purpose in life.
During my gap year I'd love to venture out of the joyful corporate 9-5 life to explore the world and have a positive impact on people's live, better myself everyday, be a good person, produce art, eventually live a life closer to nature, and workaway is the perfect match for me to do all of this !

Hi !
I'm Marine 23, a student at the Bilbao School of Fine Arts. I love nature, creativity, learning and discovering new cultures.
My Erasmus semester ends in December, so in January I'll be working on a new children's book project. (It's the story of Aglaé, a young dog who leaves her territory, encounters people who shake up her inherited beliefs, etc.). Immersing myself in a new way of life, discovering how you see and live would make me grow enormously. I'm particularly curious about life in Norway, legends and myths !
Help you, learning and sharing skills while having the opportunity to develop close relationship to nature makes me dream. I hope we will share some good times together, and that you can enjoy my french toast !

We have the privilege to be able-bodied and in good shape. We regularly exercise, we're not Hercules but any physical help should be fine :)

We're both artists, Marine is on an erasmus in Bilbao finishing an illustration degree (she's loving discovering other people's ways of life, it's pure joy), and Samy just finished his master's degree in Art direction at the renowned LISAA Paris, so we should have a good artistic sense and good design skills.
It would be a delight to get to put those skills to work for a host! :)

We can also help inside by cleaning, cooking, painting, and other DIYs... We are also able to look after and play with children if that's something you would trust us to do !

We're both plant parents, but mainly indoor ones. Samy is experiencing gardening and vegetable-growing in his outside garden on the countryside, but this is a skill we're still learning as life goes ! We can also help with computer / social media / software related tasks. Samy loves photography and it's one of the things he does the most in his free time. He's also been learning piano for one year :)

We've studied together and had the privilege to travel together in many places around Europe over the last years, which makes the two of us a great team, we work well together !

Apart from that Samy loves crochet, Marine loves drawing slices of life and writing stories for childrens !

Of course we're two very curious, hard working humans and would love to learn new skills from you ! Whether we have your desired skills for a task or not, one sure thing is that we will do it with enthusiasm and curiosity :)

We're passionate about nature and the outdoors, and have always always been attracted by Norway, culture-wise and nature-wise, this is why we would love to help a Norwegian host kind enough to accept us :))
