Hello, my name is Samantha, but I go by Sami. I love to travel! I’ve traveled to italy, Guatemala, and Mexico. I truly fell in love with traveling when my family and I spent almost 3 months in Guatemala. Being there for longer than a average vacation time was an amazing experience where I felt like I got to see the people and the cultrue in a way I wouldn’t have otherwise. That’s why workaway really caught my attention. Other passions that I have are skateboarding, movies, adventures, the outdoors, reading, spending time with friends and family, and learning.

For a year and a half, I did service 2-5 times a week, doing a lot of basic yard work and cleaning. This summer, I worked at a permaculture sanctuary and am currently working at a flower farm. I am a quick learner, very adaptable and work well with my coworkers. My other current job is at an alternative High School where I help teach students math and fill in with other tasks where needed. There are many students with learning disabilities so I need to be adaptive in my ways of teaching and communicating with them. I love the students and the people that I work with and genuinely enjoy working hard in everything I do.
