My name is Sabrina, I am 22 years old from New York. I left New York to explore the world and have been traveling for over a year and a half now. I’ve roamed my way through Europe, the balkans, South East Asia, spent 10 months living and working in Australia. Traveling and meeting new people is very fulfilling and truly warms my heart. I am interested in developing new skills while deeply immersing myself in the local culture and lifestyle of the places I visit.

I am a very open, curious, easy going, and warm. I enjoy solitude as much as I thrive in social environments. I seek to find a balance in my life and in everything that I do. I value and deeply cherish spending time outdoors. I enjoy hiking, swimming, camping, sailing, and working with my hands. That being making all sorts of art and generally speaking learning new crafts and skills, finding creative solutions.

I’ve spent 3.5 months living and working on an remote, tiny island in Far North Queensland, Australia where I worked as a deckhand doing fishing tours with guests exploring the Great Barrier Reef and it’s surroundings. I also did a lot of various general manual labour tasks, gardening, fixing fences, taking care of animals, housekeeping, and cooking for 15 people. I spent over a month sailing from Bali to West Papua, learning about life at sea and diving in the beautiful biodiverse reefs of Raja Ampat. Now I am back in Thailand looking for a likeminded community to join and continue learning new skills with.

I have experience working as a deckhand, assisting with fishing and all the knot tying that come with it , cleaning and a bit of boat maintenance.

Interested in learning masonry, plastering, natural building, general restoration and construction. Also would love to learn about cooking, food preservation, foraging, herbalism! Eager to learn as much as I can from those willing to share their knowledge with me.

I am flexible and creative and desire to develop more skill in DIY building projects and learn more about sustainable living. I am really open to any type of work. I am quite handy and into art related projects (blacksmithing, printmaking, drawing, decorating, painting, as well as music) and enjoy challenging manual labor. I would consider myself to be a self driven worker being able to complete a task that is explained to me efficiently and enjoy working with a team as well! :-)

I believe in putting all of my energy into getting work done in an efficient and productive manner and truly enjoy physical work outside, getting down and dirty! I pick up on learning new things quickly and make sure everything I do is done diligently.

I have my drivers license and am experienced driving in big cities as well as in the country side.
