I am always interested in learning something new or sharing my own skills and knowledge to help others. Growing up as the eldest of six, it was and is seeing others achieve and grow that I find the most rewarding. I will go the extra mile to ensure those near to me succeed and are happy.

I have worked in many mixed and demanding settings and environments.
I have worked herding reindeer across the arctic with my Sámi friends. This involved varying degrees of animal handling depending on the time of year, the most hands on being the autumn migration of the herd and the marking of new calves. The work in general involved lots of travel over rough ground on atvs and foot as well as careful helmsmanship across the fjord at certain times.
I have worked in the construction sector in Christchurch, New Zealand. Carrying out painting and maintenance work, including repointing, insulation, and some basic carpentry among other things.
My time with the military has cemented and developed my team working skills and communication, as well as making me more robust and determined in challenging situations.
I have volunteered and served with the New Zealand fire service, attending a few major call outs but mostly attending training and community events.
I have experience teaching students of ages 11-18, in both Sports and Geography (though most of my teaching experience lies in sports my degree is in geography and I am a geographer through and through!).Age
