Hey! I'm Ruby, 29 years old from London.
I have done a couple of workaways in Spain already but still feel new and I am excited for the opportunities that come with being a part of this community, so thank you for stopping by.

I am planning to travel to Portugal for September, and am hoping to find a lovely Workaway where I can be challenged, be creative and meet new people. I am a positive, fun, practical person who will approach challenges with a creative, open mind. I love music, cooking curries, good films, animals and the sea (amongst many other things!). I’m looking forward to having a laugh and learning some new skills along the way!

I have been working in the events industry for around eight years, organising music festivals, so have picked up a lot of great skills - I'm a problem solver with a can-do attitude, and a creative mind. I now only do events work freelance, I am currently work in a cafe as a barista and am very much enjoying feeling more a part of my local area and meeting lots of people from all walks of life.

I am very open to help out where needed and interested in trying and learning new things!
