Hi!

My name is Rozelle and am just finishing up my undergraduate degree in Psychology. I'm half-German, half-English and have spent the last few years in the Netherlands and am spending my final semester in Tasmania!
I would love to spend a while travelling and exploring Australia and Asia, to get to know different cultures and new people - I really want to make the most of my time on this side of the world.
I love spending time in nature, going on hikes and learning about local flora and fauna. I also absolutely love animals and will try and pet anything I see - which can be risky I've heard. I enjoy meeting new people and cooking good food, but also enjoy my time alone with a good book or my new go-to series.
I've worked in several different jobs (waitress, bartender, cleaner, swim teacher,...) and consider myself hardworking. I also have some gardening experience due to a large garden at home.
I've learnt that there's always something new for me to discover and learn and look forward to some new experiences!

Work experience
- I have been trained to work with young children (ages 4-9) as a sports assistant. From 2017-2020 I taught swimming and gymnastics, body awareness and a healthy lifestyle.
- volunteered for a short time where I helped to clean the homes of elderly and disabled people.
- worked in cafés and bars : I can make a good cappuccino!

- completed First Aid course; school paramedic for 4 years

What else ...

Board games I like to play include "Settlers of Catan", or "Kuhhandel" as well as different card games like "Mau Mau" or "Pirate Whist".

In my free time I like to read books, watch films, meet up with friends and play with my cat. I enjoy watching documentaries and TED TALKS about nature, psychology and medicine. I also love detective and crime shows, from "Ms. Marple" to "The Mentalist".

I am committed to sustainability and exploring different approaches to a more sustainable lifestyle like "zero waste" and minimalism.

I enjoy my psychology studies and plan to become an educational psychologist in the future.
