Description

Hey! I am Robin from Germany, and I am 19 years old.
After graduating from school in July 2024 I have decided to take a gap year before starting to study psychology in October 2025. And I promised myself that I am going to make the absolute most out of it!
I have started this gap year with traveling around Europe and working for several help organizations (NGOs) in Austria for over three months.
Now I want to broaden my horizons and see what's beyond the borders of my continent, while not only traveling for the sake of my own joy, but rather to leave a positive impact doing so!

I am very interested in different cultures (especially literature!) and languages — thus, I am eager to engage in new countries and their different lifestyles.

I am good at working with children — I have also been helping out for a bit in a Kindergarten — and generally with people (I have gathered some experience at the German Red Cross).

I do not mind living and working in harsher conditions, since I always accept a good challenge!

I speak three languages fluently (German, English and Romanian) and I am willing to share my knowledge in exchange for yours ;)

I have traveled and worked a lot on my own; so I would describe myself as a very independent person that can take initiative, while also being able to work in a team.

Nevertheless, because I am at a relatively young age, there's still a lot of room for experience that I can gain. This is also one of the reasons why I am doing this! I absolutely want to develop my skills and am really motivated to learn and apply new things.
