Hello! 👋🏼 Our names are Rachel (28) & Martin (30), from Ireland and Germany. From January 2025 we will be in the Netherlands and would love to volunteer along the way.

We are both pretty handy and have gained a lot of experience in renovating (sanding, priming, painting, basic DIY) and are happy weeding and planting in the garden. We are Kindergarten teachers and love to work with children, while some of our other interests are in animal care, eco living, meeting new people and learning about different cultures.

Martin is also very creative and loves to draw/paint/create all kinds of artwork. He has also completed an internship in car painting, so he has great experience is handcrafting.
We are both great communicators and are very organised. 🙂

We both love to cook, share recipes and learn new cuisines and local dishes of the places we visit.

Animal care - I have a lot of experience with cats and dogs from growing up with them, and also my time working in an animal shelter 🐈 🐕

Gardening - I spend a lot of time in my garden at home giving it a try growing different fruits and vegetables. In my family home I help my mam to plant a lot and keep care of the garden 🪴

DIY - I love to put furniture together and in my old apartment built I put together almost every piece of furniture in it 😁 I grew up learning from my dad and also worked in a key cutting/shoe repair shop during university
