We are a recently married couple traveling the world, driven by a shared passion for connecting with people, exploring new places, and experiencing diverse cultures. Both of us come from caregiving backgrounds—I’m a social worker, and my husband is a nurse—so helping others and working hard comes naturally to us.

What motivates us most is learning from others, whether it’s through sharing stories, cooking meals together, or simply lending a hand wherever needed. We find happiness in simple things like dancing together, having meaningful conversations, or discovering hidden gems in the places we visit. I bring a unique blend of skills and experiences to any environment. I worked for 8 years as a social worker in a facility for individuals with mental disabilities, such as autism and other challenges. In this role, I provided compassionate care and led my team, developing strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Since the age of six, I’ve been a passionate modern dancer, competing in various competitions. Dancing has instilled discipline, creativity, and the ability to stay calm under pressure—qualities I apply in every aspect of my life.

I also worked in a bar for 4 years, mastering customer service and maintaining high standards of cleanliness, and I spent 7 years preparing and selling food at my local market, which sparked my love for cooking and efficiency in managing resources.

Beyond these experiences, I’m very handy and skilled in renovation tasks such as painting, installing furniture, and general DIY jobs. I enjoy taking on practical projects and completing them to a high standard.

I’m down-to-earth, unafraid of challenges, and excel at keeping my cool in demanding situations. Whether it’s helping others, creating something with my hands, or learning new skills, I approach everything with enthusiasm, dedication, and a positive attitude.

What else ...

We love playing board games and enjoy a mix of strategy, cooperation, and fun—our favorites include Catan, Scrabble, and Carcassonne, but we’re always up for learning new ones. Playing games is one of our favorite ways to connect with others and share laughs.

As people, we are empathetic and social, making it easy for us to build meaningful connections. We combine this with a touch of Dutch directness, so we value honesty and clear communication. In our free time, we enjoy cooking, going out to eat, exploring local cultures, dancing, and trying out hands-on projects. We’re always eager to learn something new and share experiences with others.
