Hi, we are Joe and Ria, a creative couple from England.

About Ria : Hello my name is Ria, I am 24 years old, from England. Passionate about travel and exploring the world, I am a hard worker, enthusiastic about helping and learning from different communities during my travels. I have currently been travelling for 7 months and I now want to try a different style of travel and help give back to the community! I am a creative, outgoing individual, with previous experience with working in a school helping children develop their English language and reading skills. I also have experience within the hospitality and events sector, and have a passion for photography which is what I earned my degree in. However I am open to getting stuck in to any kind of work and helping in any way that I can. I would love to share my skills where needed but also learn from others and try new types of work.

About Joe : Hi! My name is Joe, I’m 26, from London, England and I have been travelling around South East Asia for the last 7 months with my girlfriend, Ria. Whilst travelling I have loved experiencing different cultures and communities, now towards the end of our trip I would love to delve deeper and give back by doing some volunteering work, whilst still immersing myself in new experiences. I am open to any kind of volunteering, my previous work has been varied, between supermarket and retail work, to kitchen work in a restaurant and more recently, Graphic Design and workshop management, which is tailored more to my degree in Product Design. I would love to add to this skill set, whilst also sharing my knowledge and skills where I can.

With English being our first spoken language, we are keen to share our skills and knowledge wherever it can be useful. Teaching people of any age how to improve their English skills is something we are both excited to do, especially with Ria’s previous experience in helping children improve their English reading and writing skills within a school in England. Teaching our first language to those who will benefit from it the most is an exciting prospect we hope to fulfil on our travels.

We both love playing games, whether that be board games, card games or even learning new games from the people we have met along our travels.
