Description
Dear Host Families,
my name is Rebecca Nehring and I am a 23- year-old student for special education at the university of Paderborn. I live in a small town in North Rhine-Westphalia in Germany. In my free time I like to meet up with my friends, sing in a choir, go for walks and travel!
My friends would say that I am a talkative person (when I feel comfortable), who is always ready for adventures.
I decided to do a workaway for different reasons.
1. I desire to travel around the world for a long time now, and therefore I would like to see places far away from Europe to make my dream come true. On my way, I would love to see new cultures, so a "longer" stay in a foreign country seems a good opportunity. For my stay, it would be my dream to go to Australia and explore a country at the other side of the world. (Also I would like to learn some surfing. :) )
Furthermore I am highly intrested in exploring Canada, South Africa and New Zealand.
2. English is one of my subjects at the university, which means, that I am required to take the experience of living at least 3 months in an English-speaking country to improve my language skills.Interests

I am a native German speaker and would love to teach you something of my language. Furthermore, I would describe my English as (almost) fluent, so I guess I will be able to communicate in the country I will go to. Learning Spanish is my hobby, because I talk daily with people from Latin America and I hope to get better day by day. In 2020, I started classes of Italian, but I needed to stop due to Covid. Right now, I continue learning it with Duolingo.Skills and knowledge I'd like to share or learn

Before my studies, I already did an apprenticeship as an educator, where I gained experiences with childcare. Right now I also work in a primary school in the afternoon. So doing homework with children and offer them a good time too is part of my skills and the things I do almost daily.
Furthermore, I am sure that I will be able to do some cooking, cleaning and general maintenance of the household.Age
